I've coached baseball at Jakarta Barat Boxing Gym since 1987. Most of my players were between 12 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Joko
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Joko: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
