John Wafula Omondi
Self-taught ceramics artist
- 🇰🇪 Kasarani, Nairobi, Kenya
- 2017 to 2025
- English, Swahili
I work mostly in ceramics, sometimes mural painting. My first show was in 2017 at Kasarani Print Workshop, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by folk tales I grew up with. I garden badly but happily.
More about John
I've had 3 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
