I've coached softball at Eugene Athletic Club since 1999. Most of my players were between 12 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I write a short note to every student at the end of term.
I'm still learning every day.
What gifts mean to John: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
