I coached wrestling at Nairobi Queensway Youth Club from 1983 to 2006. Most of my players were between 12 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
More about John
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to John: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
