John B. Price
Woodcarving artist in Houston
- 🇺🇸 Houston, Texas, United States
- Houston Art Collective
- Since 2005
- English
I work mostly in woodcarving, sometimes sculpture. My first show was in 2005 at Houston Art Collective, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by markets and street scenes. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about John
If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
What gifts mean to John: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
