Johanna Jana Sommer

38 years teaching physics in Berlin

🇩🇪 Berlin, Berlin, Germany
Berlin Boys' School
Since 2013
German, English

Berlin Boys' School is my second home. I teach physics there since 2013, mostly Year 7. Outside the classroom I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Inside it, I write a short note to every student at the end of term.

More about Johanna

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

Subjects taught

Physics

What gifts mean to Johanna: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
