Jocelyn P. Martinez
Mathematics teacher at Gateway Girls' School, 2004 to 2020
- 🇵🇭 Manila, Metro Manila, Philippines
- 2004 to 2020
- English, Filipino, Spanish
I taught mathematics at Gateway Girls' School in Manila from 2004 to 2020. Most days I taught teenagers, and I learned every name in the first week.
I coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Jocelyn
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the capital, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

You taught me mathematics in 2016 at Gateway Girls' School. I still remember the morning the power went out and we had class in the yard. Greetings from Mbale.
