Joaquín W. Romero
Coached football for 17 years in Ciudad de México
- 🇲🇽 Ciudad de México, Ciudad de México, Mexico
- Ciudad de México Community Club
- 1996 to 2013
- Spanish, French
I coached football at Ciudad de México Community Club from 1996 to 2013. Most of my players were between 10 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I'm still learning every day.
What gifts mean to Joaquín: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
