Joaquín W. Lozano
33 years teaching mathematics at Guadalajara University
- 🇲🇽 Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico
- Guadalajara University
- 1992 to 2019
- Spanish
I taught mathematics at Guadalajara University from 1992 to 2019, and supervised 57 dissertations along the way.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I walk the dog by the river.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Joaquín
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Joaquín: Any gift helps me keep buying books for students who can't afford them.
