Joaquín R. Chávez
36 years teaching environmental science in Bogotá
- 🇨🇴 Bogotá, Bogotá D.C., Colombia
- Beacon Academy
- 1982 to 2015
- English, Spanish, French
For 33 years I was the environmental science teacher at Beacon Academy. I taught mixed-ability classes and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 960 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
If you remember me, I'd love to hear from you.
More about Joaquín
If you were in my mixed-ability classes class, you probably remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam.
