Joaquín F. Herrera
Environmental science and music teacher, Medellín
- 🇨🇴 Medellín, Antioquia, Colombia
- Medellín Primary School
- Since 1979
- Spanish, English
For 47 years I have been the environmental science teacher at Medellín Primary School. I teach teenagers and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Outside the classroom I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays. Inside it, I answer every email, even at midnight.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Joaquín
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the farm, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
