Joaquín D. Peña
Art and home economics teacher, Zapopan
- 🇲🇽 Zapopan, Jalisco, Mexico
- Redwood Technical College
- 1997 to 2009
- Spanish
I taught art at Redwood Technical College in Zapopan from 1997 to 2009. Most days I taught first-year students, and I wrote a short note to every student at the end of term.
I ran the homework club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I'm always reading two books at once.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Joaquín
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.
