Joaquín A. Cruz
24 years teaching physics in Iztapalapa
- 🇲🇽 Iztapalapa, Ciudad de México, Mexico
- Iztapalapa Boys' School
- 2014 to 2025
- English, Spanish
For eleven years I was the physics teacher at Iztapalapa Boys' School. I taught Year 7 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I coached the school's athletics team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Joaquín
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Joaquín: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
