I've been a nurse for 13 years, most of them in oncology at Duque de Caxias Maternity Hospital in Duque de Caxias. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
