Joaquim Luiz Bastos

35 years teaching design and technology in São Paulo

  • 🇧🇷 São Paulo, São Paulo, Brazil
  • Greenfield Primary School
  • Since 1987
  • Portuguese
Greenfield Primary School is my second home. I teach design and technology there since 1987, mostly Year 9. Over the years I've had 1,720 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

More about Joaquim

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

Subjects taught

Design and technology
What gifts mean to Joaquim: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
