Joaquim Francisco Rocha
Masonry for 46 years in Pelotas
- 🇧🇷 Pelotas, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil
- Old Pelotas Shop
- Since 1980
- Portuguese
I've worked in masonry since 1980. I learned from my uncle and passed what I could on to 2,530 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I like to keep things simple and honest.

If I fixed something for you, I hope it's still holding.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Joaquim: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
