Joaquim Daniel Amaral
31 years teaching home economics in Campinas
- 🇧🇷 Campinas, São Paulo, Brazil
- 1995 to 2017
- Portuguese
I came to teaching late, after working as a bus driver, and 22 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Joaquim
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

I was in your the youngest children class in 2006. You believed I could do it before I did!
