João Sebastião Paiva

Self-taught mural painting artist

  • 🇧🇷 Campinas, São Paulo, Brazil
  • Little Willow Creek Pottery
  • 1979 to 1989
  • Portuguese
I work mostly in mural painting, sometimes ceramics. My first show was in 1979 at Little Willow Creek Pottery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog. I also teach a weekly class at Little Willow Creek Pottery, which keeps me honest. It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

More about João

If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
