I came to teaching late, after working as a postal worker, and 28 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've run the reading group after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
I'm still learning every day.
More about João
If you were in my primary school children class, you probably remember the last day before the summer holidays.

What gifts mean to João: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me social studies in 2007 at Londrina Girls' School. I still remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand.
