João Ricardo Fernandes

Art and chemistry teacher, Rio de Janeiro

  • 🇧🇷 Rio de Janeiro, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
  • Since 2009
  • Portuguese
I teach art at Rio de Janeiro Grammar School in Rio de Janeiro since 2009. Most days I teach the final-year class, and I answer every email, even at midnight. Over the years I've had 730 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

More about João

Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to João: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
