João Lucas Bezerra

Teacher at Mount Pleasant Secondary School, loves art

For 40 years I have been the art teacher at Mount Pleasant Secondary School. I teach the youngest children and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. I've coached the school's athletics team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

What gifts mean to João: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
