João Castro
Self-taught woodcarving artist
- 🇧🇷 Londrina, Paraná, Brazil
- Little Londrina Art Collective
- 1993 to 2015
- English, French
I work mostly in woodcarving, sometimes calligraphy. My first show was in 1993 at Little Londrina Art Collective, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by the sea. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.

If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
