Jiro Yusuke Hirano

Entrepreneurship mentor, Shinjuku

  • 🇯🇵 Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan
  • Shinjuku Community Trust
  • Since 1997
  • Japanese
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 1,280 people through Shinjuku Community Trust. Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Jiro: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
