Self-taught illustration artist
- 🇯🇵 Sakai, Osaka, Japan
- Little Mount Pleasant Print Workshop
- 1980 to 2003
- Japanese
I work mostly in illustration, sometimes photography. My first show was in 1980 at Little Mount Pleasant Print Workshop, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I carry a notebook everywhere. My studio is always a bit of a mess.
More about Jiro
I've had 11 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
Mediums
What gifts mean to Jiro: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
