Jing Zhang

Youth football coach and mentor

🇺🇸 Mesa, Arizona, United States
Mesa Youth Club
Since 1998
English, Mandarin

I've coached football at Mesa Youth Club since 1998. Most of my players were between 9 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life. My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

More about Jing

If you played for me, you probably remember the day the fire alarm went off during the exam.

What gifts mean to Jing: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
