I've spent 34 years as a lecturer in anthropology at Lincoln State University in Busan. I loved the lecture hall and loved office hours even more.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
More about Jin-ah
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Jin-ah: Any gift helps me keep buying books for students who can't afford them.
