Jimena T. Cordero

Musician with Springfield Band

🇺🇸 Springfield, Massachusetts, United States
Springfield Band
1992 to 2023
English

I play violin and songwriting. I started in 1992 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness. I teach about 6 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I'm always reading two books at once.

More about Jimena

I wrote my first song when I was 17. It was terrible and I still love it.

Instruments or styles

Violin Jazz

What gifts mean to Jimena: Any gift will help me keep teaching kids who can't afford lessons.
