Jimena S. Ortiz

14 years teaching materials science at San Jose University

  • 🇺🇸 San Jose, California, United States
  • San Jose University
  • Since 2015
  • English, Spanish
My subject is materials science, and for eleven years I get to share it with undergraduates at San Jose University. I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I bake for the whole street at New Year.

What gifts mean to Jimena: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
