Jimena R. Álvarez

Keeper of the rare books

  • 🇺🇸 Buffalo, New York, United States
  • Buffalo Reading Room
  • 1985 to 2017
  • English, Spanish, French
For 32 years I looked after the shelves, the card catalog and the regulars at Buffalo Reading Room. Some of my favorite visitors were children who came for the heating and stayed for the books.

What gifts mean to Jimena: A gift would go toward books for the children's corner.
