Jimena Ibáñez
Social studies teacher at Oakland Public School, 2008 to 2025
- 🇺🇸 Oakland, California, United States
- Oakland Public School
- 2008 to 2025
- English, Spanish
I taught social studies at Oakland Public School in Oakland from 2008 to 2025. Most days I taught the final-year class, and my door was open at lunch.
I coached the school's basketball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
