I've been a nurse for 20 years, most of them in neonatal care at Tlaquepaque Children's Hospital in Tlaquepaque. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
