Jihan Eka Surya
Teacher at Acacia Primary School, loves special education
- 🇮🇩 Surabaya, East Java, Indonesia
- Since 2005
- English
For 21 years I have been the special education teacher at Acacia Primary School. I teach the final-year class and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 1,050 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Jihan
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Jihan: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me special education in 2024 at Acacia Primary School. I still remember that terrible school play.

A small gift is a big thank-you.
