Jide Okechukwu Igwe

27 years teaching Spanish in Lagos

  • 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
  • Harbor Secondary School
  • Since 1991
  • English
I came to teaching late, after working as a mechanic, and 35 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else. I've run the science fair after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I sing in a choir. I'm still learning every day.

More about Jide

The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
