I'm a oil painting artist based in Lagos. I've been making things since 1989 and I still get excited when a new batch of materials arrives.
Most of my work is inspired by the river near my house. I sing in a choir.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Jide
I've had 5 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.

What gifts mean to Jide: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
