Jide Festus Odukoya
31 years teaching physics in Port Harcourt
- 🇳🇬 Port Harcourt, Rivers, Nigeria
- Port Harcourt Public School
- Since 2001
- English, Hausa
I teach physics at Port Harcourt Public School in Port Harcourt since 2001. Most days I teach Grade 8, and I learn every name in the first week.
Over the years I've had 730 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
More about Jide
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Jide: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me physics in 2016 at Port Harcourt Public School. I still remember the time the class pet escaped.
