For 37 years I have been the mathematics teacher at Parkside Public School. I teach the final-year class and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 1,330 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Jian
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Jian: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
