I taught art at Dhaka Boys' School in Dhaka from 2012 to 2023. Most days I taught primary school children, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Jewel
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Jewel: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
