Jewel Ratul Kabir
Master of plumbing, now teaching apprentices
- 🇧🇩 Dhaka, Dhaka, Bangladesh
- Little Maple Ridge Shop
- 1999 to 2009
- English, Bengali
I've worked in plumbing from 1999 to 2009. I learned from my grandfather and passed what I could on to 380 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I like to keep things simple and honest.

Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Jewel: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
