I've worked in baking from 1994 to 2007. I learned from my grandmother and passed what I could on to 400 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I take the work seriously, though not myself.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
