Jesse Milan Van den Broek
Master of bicycle repair, now teaching apprentices
- 🇳🇱 Amsterdam, North Holland, Netherlands
- The Sunrise Shop
- Since 1996
- Dutch
My trade is bicycle repair. I opened my own shop in 1996 in Amsterdam and I'm still there most mornings.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I take the work seriously, though not myself.

Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Jesse: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
