I've been a nurse for 41 years, most of them in oncology at Jacaranda Children's Hospital in Calamba. Night shifts taught me patience, and patients taught me everything else.
The thing I'm proudest of is that families usually remember my name. I watch every football match going.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
