Jepkoech Winnie Byaruhanga
Master of tailoring, now teaching apprentices
- 🇰🇪 Eldoret, Uasin Gishu, Kenya
- The Eldoret Works
- Since 1992
- English, Swahili
My trade is tailoring. I opened my own shop in 1992 in Eldoret and I'm still there most mornings.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.
More about Jepkoech
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
What gifts mean to Jepkoech: Any gift will help me keep the workshop open for evening lessons.
