Jepkoech Amani Nabwire
Master of bicycle repair, now teaching apprentices
- 🇺🇬 Mukono, Central Region, Uganda
- Harmony Repairs
- Since 1990
- English
I've worked in bicycle repair since 1990. I learned from my father and passed what I could on to 1,120 apprentices.
I can still tell good work from rushed work from across the street. I run most mornings.

If I fixed something for you, I hope it's still holding.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Jepkoech: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
