Jennifer T. Powers
33 years teaching history in Arlington
- 🇺🇸 Arlington, Texas, United States
- Arlington Middle School
- Since 2004
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a farmhand, and 22 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
I've coached the school's volleyball team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
Thank you for stopping by.
More about Jennifer
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
Subjects taught
What gifts mean to Jennifer: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

you taught me history in 2023 at Arlington Middle School. I still remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand.
