I taught Spanish at Bakersfield Secondary School in Bakersfield from 1991 to 2016. Most days I taught Year 9, and I answered every email, even at midnight.
I ran the science fair after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I garden badly but happily.
More about Jennifer
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Jennifer: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.
