For 46 years I have been the English literature teacher at Starlight Girls' School. I teach the final-year class and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've run the homework club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
