I came to teaching late, after working as a night-shift cleaner, and 17 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window. Inside it, I stay late on Thursdays for anyone who needs it.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
