Jemima Ama Tetteh
Sculpture artist in Kumasi
- 🇬🇭 Kumasi, Ashanti, Ghana
- Little Kumasi Gallery
- Since 1979
- English, Twi
I work mostly in sculpture, sometimes oil painting. My first show was in 1979 at Little Kumasi Gallery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
I also teach a weekly class at Little Kumasi Gallery, which keeps me honest.
More about Jemima
I've had 13 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
Mediums
What gifts mean to Jemima: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
