For ten years I ran the athletics program at Sunrise Football Club in Accra. We trained 2 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
More about Jemima
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Jemima: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
