I've coached chess at Santa Rosa Sports Club since 1987. Most of my players were between 12 and 17, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
If we met, say hello. I'd love to know how life turned out.

I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.

What gifts mean to Jayson: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
